it all started with a dream...everyone thought he had never make the presidency sit but he dreamed on and achieved it. He was what I can say a champion. He always got back up when we all thought he could not. He reached his goal.
to a Tenacious Man, a Gallant Man
A Dreamer, An achiever, a voice to the voiceless. I celebrate you.
He did the impossible, he was a people person, I mean who can ride on a common mini bus as a president. He had his way of reaching out to the people and ensuring we were heard.
We shall surely miss you Father of the Nations.
my Condolences and sympathy to the Sata Family and the Nation at large
MHSRIP
God blessed him with the presidency and he has run the race.

THE CLEAN UP
so I get to the office and I here we are essential workers, that means no half day for us..arrgg... was looking forward to knocking off early today. Then as am wallowing in self pity, I here noises outside, traffic begins to build as cars swerve to the sidewalks clearing the mid apart. This is like 07:00 am. yea I know I get to the office like really early to try as much as possible finish some work before 08:00am when it gets all crazy with clients.
out of curiosity I step outside, and see a lot of people with brooms marching on the middle of the road, telling cars to go to the side, its a riot its a riot someone screams from the other side of Cairo road, then i thought what are political cadres up to this time. But alas, they have been employed with cleaning up the city.
as we all know, today is the eve of Zambia's independence and the streets are all colourful with people wearing, black, orange, green, red and copper mixtures. quiet a spectacle i must say.
this is what am wearing to celebrate My Zambia, My Independence
and,
this is what the streets of Cairo road looked like today
everyone was now using their brooms and they cleaned every corner of the city. it looks great almost sparkling.
this reminds me of the time we were kids, how we were always told to clean the house to the extra ordinary when visitors were coming. we would all get busy and you know what they say first impressions last long. I guess its the same thing with today, clean up and make the country look beautiful as tomorrow will celebrate 50 years of independence. even the street vendors are all gone, chased from the streets. but I think at 50 years this should be our daily routine, to ensure that we keep the city with that sparkle all the time not just one day as every day is a celebration. I love how the streets are looking today. :-)

Drunken People
The sounds that resemble that of a firework
The joy filled in their eyes tells a story
The drum beats, the dance and the funky walk just knowing all is well
The drum beats, the dance and the funky walk just knowing all is well
The build between strangers so strong feels like it’s a forever
friendship
The Bright colours, like a sun’s rays, beautiful colours or
green, black, red and orange you will see in their eyes, makes one’s blood
rush.
The drunkenness of a
freedom fighter, The hunger in his Heart, is that like of an alcohol addict, The
drive is so intense such that he shall do anything to get that which feeds his
emotion and keeps it in check.
The Year 1964 gives such a drunken scenario, showing a
people hungry for a free nation, a freedom to be able to buy food by going to a
shop through the door.
Indeed it is such a jubilee, 50 years Mother Zambia, 50
years of drunkenness towards a poverty free nations, 50 years of growing and
developing the nation, 50 years of individual freedom as a Zambian, freedom to
trade, freedom to move from one place to the other, 50 years of Christianity
and putting God first.
Indeed praise be, to God, for he has blessed our nation with
freedom of peace, for Free men we stand, in politics in economy and in
developing our nations. 50 years of Independence calls for a better Zambia, a
developed, an independent Zambia. What are you doing about to enhance
development as a Zambian?
Let’s reflect and see that even as we are independent as a
country we are independent as individuals and help build and even better
Zambia.
Looking forward to the cultural festivities, celebrating 50 years of independence, The days are moving and counting, soon it shall be the 24 of October, I hear the jubilation already, the laughter and the happy independence greeting between strangers, reminding us that in need we are one and we have won the freedom fight and that together we can, together we are able, together we shall and together we are drunken people for a better Zambia, a corrupt free Zambia, a People driven Zambia and a productive Zambia, that effects more export for the benefit of our children.

This year of Celebration may the connection of freedom
remain in us and that drive for a better Zambia. The independence of the mind
in us should reflect in our country, may we be hungry for initiating factories
that create products for the world at large; to be a land linked country in all
trade, industry and labour. Just like our fore fathers saw it fit, to unite and
plan for a free Zambia, to shed blood so you and I would live better lives, so
should we filled with such drunkenness for a better economy.
Happy 50 years my darling fellow Zambians

SUMMER MADNESS!!!!!!!
The rainbow touch, as the rays shine through my window, to
my skin in the morning.
That awesome feeling of vitamin D never running out as it’s
in constant supply all day.
The cool water of swimming pools callingJ,
The flowers looking bright, the bees singing in the air as
the buds open wide.
Yahoo, its summer alright, how I love and look forward to
summer, almost wish I had take a summer holiday and be on some island enjoying
the sun.
But today am here to bring to you my readers the SUMMER
FASHION and which looks to rock this summer.
One very important thing though is to keep hydrated, the sun
is beautiful but it is also dehydrating. Try by all means to take 2liters of
water a day or more, if you are up and about, should help keep the headaches
away.
Sunglasses are a must have this summer season, they will not
only make you look awesome but will protect yours and my eyes as we sun bask
from the excessive rays of the sun.
Oh how I love hats, I have them in different colours I must
admit. *hides face*. They will protect my face from the sun’s heat and thus
helping keep the skin on my face from sun burns and healthy too. One other
thing that will protect the skin and keep it healthy this summer is sunscreen.

The only problem with summer is no matter what you wear, you
still feel hot, but gladiator sandals, sweetheart neckline dresses and tops
should help with fresh air to our bodies.
If you are like me who does not very much like to leave my
legs bare during summer, then the maxi dresses and skirts coupled with jeans
should come in hand this summer.
For hair, cornrows are the best way to go as they let in
fresh air as compared to weaves. For this summer I am just rocking my natural
hair, but remember to keep it moisturised as well. Coconut oil helps and for a
deep moisturiser after a wash, a mixture of egg, Mayonnaise, and olive oil will
help give your hair that shine and oil balance. Just leave it on for about 45
minutes then rinse it off.
Remember summer is colourful, so rock them colours and be
summer-ious .

UMWANAKASHI
UMWANAKASHI(a woman)
wake up at 4-5am to make sure food is ready and house cleaned. That’s a perfect definition of an African woman.
When Mum goes to visit at the village she is always telling
of stories about how they had to chop down some firewood draw water from the
well and make sure the food is ready by the time the men will awake. Even the
field work is left much to the women to tender.wake up at 4-5am to make sure food is ready and house cleaned. That’s a perfect definition of an African woman.
Who is a woman? That question always runs across my mind. A woman is human, is one definition i got. To be a woman entails being able to do anything a man can do even in heels lol. However to be a woman means to be able to empower, build, encourage inspire and most of all not to forget about yourself.
A virtuous woman on
the other hand is described in proverbs 31.
Women are made and
created for a special purpose. It’s just about knowing which purpose you been
made for. Most of the time we try to look down on the women that do some things
differently, If only we could support each other’s purpose we had build a very
beautiful environment.
To be a woman is
a blessing,To care for others the way a woman does is divine,
To be able to cry because you are happy is selfless and many
mistake that for weakness.A woman’s touch turns everything into Gold…
It just seems to take all else away and a perfect way, to express that it will be okay
and when a woman loves nothing can ever change that…
The brilliance of how she does things is impeccable. She is a multitasked creation, makes sure all is ready in the time it’s needed.
Today I just wanted to celebrate these two woman in my life, My mum Dairine Nachali and Yuyo Nachali Kambikambi, they are strong, loving, kind, inspirational and most of all God fearing. Love you to bits.
As the saying goes it takes a village to raise a child and I
am grateful to all other women and Men not mentioned for the hand in building and
raising me to be the woman I have grown to Be.

CATS AND DOGS
I must admit how much of an animal person I am. from Dogs to cats, to snake and Horse name it.
so my boyfriend and I were chatting about cats and he mentioned how peculiar they can be. I have grown up around Cats, well the domestic cat that is, but it would not be a bad idea to have a jaguar for a pet, its beautiful, the black silky smooth feeling of its far, the hazel or gold eyes and how high headed it will walk. it leaves you in awe of God's creation and also teaches you that you are beautiful just the way you are. it walks with such majesty like its the only one in the world.
isn't she a beauty. I always wondered why cat would see in the dark, maybe that is the reason most Africans associate them with witchcraft, but hey people will be superstitious anyway.
Cats' nocturnal vision is far superior to that of humans, however its false to say they can see in total darkness. They can see clearly with only one-sixth of the illumination we need to see, so when you're trying to read at twilight, ask your cat for help! This is so because In the feline, the muscles of the iris surrounding the pupils are constructed in a fashion that allows the eye to narrow to a vertical slit in bright light and to open fully in very dim light, to allow a maximum of illumination.
In addition, a reflective layer behind the cat's retina called the tapetum lucidum reflects incoming light and bounces it back off the cones, making more use of the existing light. The tapetum is probably responsible for the fact that when a small amount of light hits a cat's eyes at night, you see shiny green orbs.(Kachingyyyyyy)
My boyfriend calls the cat that lives near him a person. i laughed out loud when I heard this, mentioned how the cat knocked on the door and also tried to open if the door was semi-closed its easy for any cat to push and enter. but what struck him the most was when it went and used the toilet...well not the bow per se but the floor of the toilet and then to make matters worse it went and jumped to go outside from the window where the kitchen sink is. In his mind this registered as it washing its hands after using the toilet. I think that would just totally freak anyone out
But cats just like dogs are trainable, therefore, if you want the cat to be going outside on the grass to pee or poop, all you have to do is show it and you will never have to endure the stench that comes from a cats pee. one must also know that cats are very clean creatures and they will not leave their poo in the open where all can see, careful if you do not teach the, they will find anywhere they can bury in the house.
Cats have flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey. Cats can hear sounds too faint or too high in frequency for human ears, such as those made by mice and other small animals.
they are fun to be around...the see a red dot and they chase it, they just put a smile on someone's face. They can even Tell when someone does not like them, I can say they are social species really. They love wool and cushions, I always have to chase mine from my room as it loves to cuddle up right on my pillows and well it either i will find my pillow wet or with fur.
so if you looking for a pet to adopt think of a cat, it will not bother you when you have fed it as cats sleep almost the whole day. Some sleep about 20 hours a day and thus leaving 4 hours for play.
if you are looking for a place in Zambia to adopt not only a cat you can visit the Zambia Animal Welfare facebook page @
they are doing a good job in ensuring that stray cats and Dogs have a place to stay. pass through and adopt one from there. they are found right behind Levy Junction.
