opportunity

Life...its beautiful just how everything unfolds and makes sense at its own time. while at the time it happens you will be anxious to know why its happening, how its happening.

Opportunity is given to all of us, but i wonder why some of us get to see the opportunities and why some of us don't seem to see them.
Opportunity has been defined as a time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. (Oxford dictionary).
but God has given all of us the same amount of time...i think the most i would say is that we luck planning...someone once said luck of planning is a great recipe for failure, but in as much as someone will plan there life out, they also need to couple it with proper time management.

i recently got a story where a person even after turning a company down for over 6 months, the company was still calling, i guess it goes to show that if you work your way very way, favor and opportunity will know you, it means not despising humble beginnings because from them we learn a lot, it means working well with others for you learn a lot from them, it means working well alone as well because they you get to be independent and put your potential at play and then you will be amazed, jobs will be coming to you instead of you looking for them, why because you would have put your best foot forward and opportunity has no choice but to follow you and you will grab it with both hands. The Bible says in 'whatever you do it to the very best of your capabilities.(colossians 3 :23)

Life is full of opportunities but do you think opportunity wants to go where there is no hard work, that's the very reason it will pass some of us by and we won’t even see it. Ever wondered why they say we should exercise? that's because it keeps our body alert and active all the time, same goes for all work, we need to be putting ourselves out there, that way we always alert and when opportunity comes, we shall be able to recognize it.
Put yourself out there, Pray, Live and love.
be active and do the very best for everything you are given...success will take you higher much quicker that way

God Has given all 24 hours but the decision is ours...what do we want to do with that 24 our...make it or sit down and complain about everything that's not happening
to us. choice is our. to stand up and take that step the best foot forward knowing we will see and crab the opportunity that presents its self.

natural vs other

ok so i have been thinking...what does changing how we look really say about us?
i have beautiful long black natural hair and yet i will admit i love to wear Brazilian and well like every one else horse hair as well.lol
I was recently at a friends wedding. Being bridesmaid and all, we were required to doll ourselves up. Boy was i excited as i pulled out my Brazilian. had my hair done and i must confess i was all courageous and really high shoulders knowing i was looking fly. then as i looked myself in the mirror, it occurred to me, Ally look at how well you carry yourself with another person's hair,  its not just me but i have seen a number of ladies actually feel themselves more, even their confidence rise as they wear other people's/ animal's hair. is that we are not proud of our natural looks, such that we try to change ourselves or is it that society demands that as women we should change ourselves to please others.?
one thing for sure is that we love praise, we want to turn heads and have the attention on us, but we really tend to forget who we are, that we are created like that for a purpose, i mean with Great maintenance, of our own looks we would have the courage to step out and have our shoulders high.
i know African hair is a little expensive to maintain, but take it from me, moisture is all that our hair needs and we would rock it all the time. i want to see ladies, even Gents be proud of who they really are, embrace it and shine...because all of us were meant to shine in our own way not the way of another person. we are not our hair, or our clothes but the personality that we portray.
trying to look like another person is living that person's life, now if we all living other people's lives what time shall we have to live our own, the 21st century needs innovators, creator and people who know who they really are and what they want to be, then we shall see more development in our countries. its starts from as little as admitting, i have thick long black hair and am proud.
so whoever you are, rock that person and add to the change and purpose you were created for.
Be-You-Tiful
